Although My Reading Town app has been designed to be used independently by children, there may be instances where they may require a little help from you.

This required help may take the form of:

- Ensuring the child is in a quiet environment especially when using the voice recognition as any background noise may interfere with the device microphone’s ability to correctly detect pronunciation

- The App is aimed at children that have a basic grasp of spoken English and all in-app instructions are in simple English. Where a child is not able to understand these instructions, you may need to explain to the child what is required.

- The App comprehensively covers 44 phonemes of the English language, however there are a total of over 70 combinations of letters to produce these phonemes. The entire course is made up of over 300 lessons. We therefore suggest that children are encouraged to use the App regularly to ensure swift progress.

My Reading Town has been designed to provide a fun and enjoyable learning experience.

We are confident that children will love using the App and playing the many games, as well as furnishing their houses with their earned reward points.

This App is primarily focused on teaching Phonemes and then blending the phonemes to form words. Punctuation and grammar will be introduced in subsequent supporting apps.
